The
Helvine Group of minerals is a group of four berylosilicates that
may be considered a subgroup of the Sodalite Group.
Helvine is probably better known by its historical synonym
Helvite. The IMA officially recognized name from
the 2012 IMA list is Helvine, not "Helvite", although Helvite may be more common in the
literature.
